Appearing April 8: Panorama, the annual visual smorgasbord of articles, photos, news and insights about life in the Hood River Valley, during Blossom Time and beyond.
The four sections — Blossoms, Community, Reflections and Recreation – will be inside the weekend edition of the News. Panorama is packed with photos and writings by community members as well as Hood River News staffers, on topics ranging from farm safety to art murals.
Community includes updates on local museums and the 50-year story of Best Western Plus Hood River Inn and anniversary events this spring.
Blossoms carries new information about this month’s community events, including the April 22 Hard Pressed Cider Fest, and a spring and summer area events list.
In Reflections and throughout the sections, see readers’ thoughts and images of special places in the Gorge, and in Recreation check out the six-month Gorge Recreation Calendar and read about new recreation opportunities, including recent expansion of the Columbia Highway Historic Trail, and plans for a new section of that outdoor facility.
