Grow your garden photography skills via Gorge Photography Club

Want to grow your garden photography skills? The Gorge Photography Club will offer tips and techniques for photographing gardens and wildflowers at their bi-monthly meeting on Monday, April 10 in The Dalles at the Columbia Fire and Rescue building meeting room, 1400 West Eighth St. The program will include a session called “Photographing Gardens” by guest speaker Doreen Wynja.

Also during the meeting, members’ photos will be shown and discussed.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. Come early at 6:30 p.m. for social time, set-up, informal questions, and sharing. The public is invited.

The Gorge Photography Club meets each second and fourth Monday. The first bi-monthly meeting location is at The Next Door, Inc., 965 Tucker Road, just south of Brookside/Eliot Drive intersection in Hood River. The second meeting of the month is held at the Columbia Fire and Rescue meeting room.

The club is for photographers of all skills levels. Their mission is to foster members’ desires to produce outstanding photographs, learn post-production techniques, and have fun seeing and capturing the world in which we live through digital and print photography.
