Mildred Goe

Millie, 1923-2017, would like to let you all know that her work on earth is done after 94 years. She received a call that she could not refuse, for an appointment from which she will not return. With this appointment comes a huge signing bonus for Millie: a reunion with her family and friends that she has not seen in a long time. Job security is exactly 110 percent. Her new mission takes her to a wonderful place where she will be socializing, dancing, gardening, bowling, playing bridge and reading to her heart’s content. Her health, hearing and eyesight has been completely restored. Music, laughter and love are guaranteed. The food is delicious and she will not gain an ounce.

Millie left detailed instructions for her children to celebrate her life at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9 at Wy’east Community Church (the little brown church in Odell), 3422 Odell Highway, and her body will be laid to rest at Idlewilde Cemetery in a separate private ceremony.

Millie’s complete life story will follow in a later edition.

Arrangements are under the direction of Anderson's Tribute Center (Funerals • Receptions • Cremations), 1401 Belmont Ave., Hood River. Please visit www. AndersonsTributeCenter.com to leave a note of condolence for the family.
