Cancelations for Tuesday, Jan. 10

• UPDATE: The Hood River Aquatic Center will close at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 10. District lessons still on.

• UPDATE: Hood River Ranger District is closed.

• UPDATE: Due to inclement weather, the Port of Hood River Commission meeting scheduled for Jan. 10 has been cancelled. Regular Session agenda items, including the waterfront parking meters discussion, will be taken up during the Jan. 24 meeting.

• UPDATE: The Hood River Library will close Jan. 10 at 11 a.m. due to inclement weather. The Cascade Locks and Parkdale branches will also be closed.

• UPDATE: The Hood River County School District school board meeting has been changed from Wed., Jan. 11 to Thurs., Jan. 12 beginning at 6:30 p.m., with a location change to the District Administration Office (previously scheduled for Hood River Middle School).

• UPDATE: Classes at Columbia Gorge Community College, Hood River and The Dalles, are now canceled

• Hood River County School District has canceled classes for today. This is an update from last night, when it was announced school would be on a two-hour delay.

• Horizon Christian School is closed.

• Belmont Drive Head Start closed.

• Country Club Head Start and EHS closed.

• OCDC Odell and The Dalles Head Start pre-service cancelled…both centers closed. Pre-service rescheduled for Wednesday, children return Thursday.

• Blossom Bilingual Pre-School closed.

• Hood River Lions Club meeting cancelled.

• Columbia River Gorge Commission meeting is cancelled.

• Senior meals in Lyle and Goldendale cancelled.

• Hood River Garbage is running routes today where it can be safely done, beginning with Monday’s routes first. They are running a day late. Any garbage that accrues as a result of the delay will be picked up at no charge.
