Independence Eve at the Bingen Theater July 3 kicked off a busy Fourth of July event schedule.

Independence Day celebrations in the mid-Columbia started July 3 with the third annual Independence Eve at Bingen Theater, where the mariachi band Los Temerosos de Juan Antonio perform. On July 4, events included the Eyeopener Lions’ fireworks show, viewed here from Union Building on Industrial Way; horses and riders in the Odell parade; the Hood River parade (and members of the chorus Harmony of the Gorge); and The Beat Goes On marching band performing after the parade at Jackson Park. Hood River News also presents a photo gallery of every entry, in order (we hope, sorry if we missed anyone) in the Hood River July 4 parade.
