On stage this weekend: She Kills Monsters at HRVHS, Game Night at HRMS

Both Hood River Valley High School and Hood River Middle School have plays opening this weekend. At HRVHS, it’s “She Kills Monsters” in the Bowe Theater Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. The play is rated PG-13 and contains some strong language and teen situations, and may not be suitable for young children. Directed by Rachel Harry. Additional dates are March 10-11 and 17-18 at 7 p.m., and March 12 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students, available at Waucoma or the door.

At HRMS, it’s “Game Night,” 7 p.m. March 3 and 2 p.m. March 4 in the auditorium. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students and seniors, in advance in the school office, or at the door. This original musical was written by Mark Steighner, director of Columbia Gorge Orchestra Association, and is directed by Anna Stipe, HRMS music teacher.
