Sheriff Log, April 23 to 29

All calls were responded to within the County of Hood River.

Assaults, harassment, menacing and domestic violence:

April 24 — NE Jackson Roberts Road, Cascade Locks — Suspected child abuse reported.

April 26 — Indian Creek Road — Harassment/assault reported. One juvenile was cited.

April 28 — Stoltz Drive — Domestic disturbance reported.

Disorderly conduct, mischief, criminal trespass and vandalism:

April 23 — Country Club Road, 1900 block — Female arrested for disorderly conduct and public indecency.

Identity theft or bank/credit card fraud:

April 27 — Highway 35, 6500 block — Deputy took information in regards to a fraud in California.

The victim’s daughter lives locally and was reporting that she needed help filing a report. Information was taken and will be forwarded to the California jurisdiction.

Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:

April 27 — Highway 281 — Deputy took report of a traffic complaint. The vehicle wrecked before the deputy had been able to reach it.

April 28 — I-84 near milepost 53 — Deputy took a traffic complaint.

Outstanding warrants, parole, probation or terms violations:

April 25 — State Street, 300 block — Male arrested for outstanding warrants.

April 27 — NE Forest Lane, 400 block, Cascade Locks — Male arrested for a probation violation.

Theft, burglary or robbery:

April 23 — Miller Road, 5500 block — Theft II reported.


April 27 — Experiment Station Road, 3000 block — Deputy conducted a death investigation.

April 29 — NW WaNaPa Street, 700 block, Cascade Locks — Found property reported.
