Sheriff Log, April 30 to May 13

All calls were responded to within the County of Hood River.

Assaults, harassment, menacing and domestic violence:

May 2 — SW WaNaPa Street, Cascade Locks — Male arrested for domestic menacing.

May 3 — Bartlett Loop — Harassment reported.

May 8 — Wheeler Road — Two females were cited and released for harassment.

May 8 — Henderson Road — Assault reported.

May 12 — Odell — Fight reported to have occurred on the tracks near AGA Road.

Controlled substance violations (non-DUII):

May 8 — Indian Creek Road, 1200 block — Juvenile male cited to appear in court for unlawful possession of marijuana.

Disorderly conduct, mischief, criminal trespass and vandalism:

May 4 — SE Windsong Drive, 900 block — Deputy responded to a report of a male causing a disturbance. The male was arrested and lodged at NORCOR.

Driving under the influence of intoxicants:

May 4 — Ninth and State — Female arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants and lodged at NORCOR.

May 13 — Hood River — Male arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was later cited and released.

Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:

May 1 — Post Canyon Drive, 4400 block — Deputy dispatched to a non-injury motor vehicle collision.

May 6 — NE Forest Lane, 900 block, Cascade Locks — Male arrested for reckless driving, driving under the influence of intoxicants, felony elude, misdemeanor elude, and driving while revoked. He was lodged at NORCOR.

May 9 — Eastside Road, 1000 block — Reckless endangerment reported.

Outstanding warrants, parole, probation or terms violations:

May 13 — Eastside Road, 2000 block — Female arrested on a felony warrant.

Theft, burglary or robbery:

May 1 — Cooper Spur Road, 6600 block — Theft reported.

May 1 — Hood River — Stolen vehicle recovered on 2810 National Forest Road.

May 1 — Highway 35, 5400 block — Burglary reported.

May 7 — SW John Quincy Court, 0-100 block, Cascade Locks — Theft of prescription pills reported.

May 8 — Barrett Drive, 4300 block — Female contacted regarding a theft complaint.


April 30 — Tucker Road — Deputy made forcible entry into a home to prevent further injury and potential loss of life. The male occupant was taken to the emergency room by fire and EMS personnel.

May 2 — 13th Street, 1200 block — Juvenile cited for misrepresentation of age by a minor.

May 2 — Indian Creek Road, 1200 block — Deputies assisted the Hood River City Police by taking an initial report.
