Gorge Foundation provides many routes to seasonal giving

Nov. 21 was Giving Tuesday, a day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year charitable support.

Columbia Gorge Foundation notes that in giving to a Columbia River Gorge non-profit, contributions can help families purchase warm coats and holiday meals, ensure that pets are cared for during the cold weather, restore the natural environment, or help an arts organization thrive. Throughout the year, the foundation connects people who want to make a difference with local organizations and nonprofits creating lasting change, according to its website.

In addition, if you want your gift to help the organizations you care about into the future, consider a gift to their designated fund. These funds will grow each year, producing a reliable source of support well into the future. The 39 endowment partners serve youth, seniors, animals, arts organizations and more throughout the Gorge in Washington and Oregon.
