All calls were responded to within the County of Hood River.

Assaults, harassment, menacing and domestic violence:

Jan. 2 — Homestead Drive — Female contacted regarding an assault complaint.

Jan. 2 — Stricker Road — Deputy assisted Department of Human Services (DHS) regarding a report of domestic abuse. After the conclusion of the investigation, the allegation was determined unfounded.

Jan. 4 — I-84 at milepost 60 — Deputy responded to a report of a domestic assault in progress.

Jan. 13 — Devon Court — Male arrested for domestic assault IV, a restraining order violation, and a probation violation detainer. He was later charged with burglary I and unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

Controlled substance violations (non-DUII):

Jan. 4 — Parkdale — Deputies cited and released a juvenile for minor in possession of marijuana following a traffic stop.

Jan. 14 — Cascade Locks — Male arrested for possession of methamphetamine following a traffic stop.

Disorderly conduct, mischief, trespass and vandalism:

Jan. 3 — Westridge Drive, 4300 block — Vandalism reported.

Jan. 13 — Clear creek Road, 8200 block — Criminal mischief reported.

Driving under the influence of intoxicants:

Jan. 13 — I-84 at milepost 49, Cascade Locks — Male arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Identity theft or bank/credit card fraud:

Jan. 11 — S.E. Chinookan Drive, 1100 block, Cascade Locks — Identity theft reported.

Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:

Jan. 6 — Barrett Drive, 4300 block — Deputy dispatched to a non-injury single vehicle collision.

Jan. 6 — Neal Creek Mill Road, 3100 block — Deputies investigated a two-vehicle crash. Injuries were reported.

Jan. 6 — Highway 35 near Trillium Road — Male arrested for felony driving while revoked and lodged at NORCOR.

Jan. 9 — Highway 30 at Highway 35 — Deputy responded to a motor vehicle crash.

Jan. 10 — Brookside Drive, 3500 block — Deputies reported to a single vehicle crash. Injuries were reported.

Outstanding warrants, parole, probation or terms violations:

Jan. 5 — Tucker Road, 1900 block — Subject arrested on outstanding warrants and lodged at NORCOR.

Jan. 17 — Sunset Road — Deputy took report of an individual violating their release agreement.

Theft or burglary:

Jan. 2 — N.W. Hassalo Street, 100 block, Cascade Locks — Unlawful entry into a motor vehicle reported.

Jan. 4 — Tucker Road, 1000 block — Theft reported. The suspect cashed several checks that were later returned due to insufficient funds.

Jan. 10 — I-84 at milepost 51 — Stolen trailer with a motorcycle reported.

Jan. 13 — Country Club Road, 400 block — Unlawful use of a motor vehicle reported.

Sex offenses:

Jan. 16 — Hood River — Deputy took a sex abuse report. The abuse was reported to have occurred in Wasco County.


Jan. 4 — Forest Service Road 1720 — Deputies located a male whose car had become stuck in the snow.

Jan. 5 — Frankton Road, 500 block — Lost driver’s license reported.

Jan. 8 — S.W. WaNaPa Street, 400 block, Cascade Locks — Found property reported.

Jan. 9 — Tucker Road, 1100 block — Offensive littering reported.

Jan. 9 — Fir Mountain Road — Runaway juvenile reported.

Jan. 11 — Ninth Court, 1600 block — Obtaining contents of communications reported.

Jan. 13 — Cascade Locks — Found property reported.

Jan. 13 — Indian Creek Road, 800 block — Dog bite reported.

Jan. 14 — S.W. Ruckel Street, Cascade Locks — Deputy attempted to conduct a welfare check on a juvenile.

Jan. 15 — S.W. Ruckel Street, Cascade Locks — Runaway juvenile reported.

Jan. 16 — Tucker Road, 900 block — Runaway juvenile reported.

Jan. 17 — Indian Creek Road — Deputies took a report of possible child abuse.
