Hood River County School District Board of Directors meets Jan. 31 at May Street School for what will likely be the last such board meeting in the existing facility. The process will start in February of replacing the structure, this summer and in the 2018-19 school year. Heavy equipment is scheduled to arrive next week.

The board meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. and includes an opportunity for public comment on any topic concerning the board. The agenda will include facility matters including approving a contractor for the Coe Facility and Alternative School project, and a contractor’s guarantee maximum price for the May Street project. Dale Kuykendall of the Wenaha Group, which oversees construction bond projects, will give a bond report.
