The Hood River Children’s Park play structure work party is on from June 4-10, and help is needed. On Monday, Gary Regalbuto, left, and Art Carroll assemble pieces of stairs that will soon carry young feet. If you can volunteer for a four-hour shift, sign up to help at ci.hood-river.or.us/ChildrensPark, or come to the work site at Ninth and Eugene streets, with sturdy, closed toe shoes and work gloves, and sign up at the volunteer table. For more information, visit cityofhoodriver.com, facebook.com/childrensparkrebuild or email childrenspark@cityofhoodriver.com.
