The Voyles are celebrating their 50th anniversary.

Kelley Voyles and Shirley Shampoe Voyles, of Hood River, were married on March 31, 1968, in Maryville, N.Y. The couple will celebrate their 50th anniversary on March 31, 2018, with a reception at Hood River Alliance Church from 2-4 p.m. Cake and punch will be served; the family asks no gifts, please. The Voyles came to Hood River in April 1968. Kelley was a maintenance man and owner of Kelley’s Fishn’ Hole; Shirley worked as an environmental engineer and in child care. They have a daughter, Dawn Pounders, of Odell, and a son, Chris Voyles, of Hood River. Grandchildren are Dustin and Presley Pounders of Odell, and Shannon, Zachary, Tyler and Madison Voyles of Buckley, Wash.
