Terry Hanck Band plays Helping Hands benefit May 12

West coast saxophonist Terry Hanck and his blues band play a benefit for Helping Hands Against Violence on Saturday, May 12. Music is from 7-10 p.m.; this is an all ages show. Tickets $20 in advance.

Hanck shared the stage with Bluesman Elvin Bishop for 10 years, and is known for his “prolific songwriting and talented musicianship.”

Saunders at White Buffalo

On Thursday, May 10 at 6 p.m., singer and guitarist Lesley Saunders brings upbeat acoustic rock to the Buffalo stage.

Claudia Schmidt plays May 10

Country Dance May 12

The Second Saturday Country Dance returns May 12 to Rockford Grange. The caller will be Sue Baker from Hood River Oregon. The band will be Mill Creek String Band from the Mid Columbia Gorge area. Dance lessons will begin at 7 p.m. All ages welcome. No partner required. Family friendly. All dances walked through first time.
