The Oregon Department of Transportation has reopened all lanes of Interstate 84 after a landslide on Wednesday blocked a section of the freeway.
From Oregon Department of Transportation: Eastbound Interstate 84 will remain closed at exit 17 in Troutdale through the weekend while crews clean up a slide at milepost 61, about three miles west of Hood River. About 2,000 cubic yards of rock and debris fell from the hillside on the south side of the highway just before 7:30 p.m.
A large landslide has closed both east bound lanes of I-84 and 1 westbound lane at milepost 61. ODOT crews are responding to the scene.

Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers are responding to multiple incidents on I-84 in Hood River and Wasco counties. Expect significant delays and drive accordingly.
Hood River County School district schools as well as Horizon Christian School are closed for Friday, Feb. 7.
Winter weather has impacted schools around the Gorge, with students being sent home early.
A Hood River man has been sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree attempted robbery following a heist at the U.S. Bank branch on the Heights in September.

Pete Hughes with the Hood River County Sheriff's Office reported that "we have reason to believe (the threat) was not credible."
