Streets Alive creates an opening

A free event, Streets Alive! HR/Fiesta en la Calle on Sept. 30 will restrict vehicle use on 1.5 miles of streets on the Heights and open them to non-motorized use. There will be a wide array of activities to promote health and community.

HRCSD enrollment down slightly for new school year

Hood River County School District is down 11 students compared to last year’s enrollment numbers, said Catherine Dalbey, Human Resources Department director. This year, HRCSD has an enrollment of 4,087 district-wide.
