Gorge Fiddle Contest returns July 24-25

After a two-year absence the Columbia Gorge Fiddle Contest returns to the Gorge on July 24 and 25 in Stevenson, Wash. The contest will be held in conjunction with the long-running Columbia Gorge Bluegrass Festival.

‘Good Body’ opens May 8

“The Good Body,” by Eve Ensler and directed by Judie Hanel, will open May 8 and run through May 18. The following actors have been cast in the show: Julie Jindal, Jessica Metta, Kathleen Morrow, Irene Fields, Brenda Hering, Lisa Roth, Desiree Amyx Mackintosh and Kim Robichaud.

Stargazing talks March 28-29

Join amateur astronomer Jim White for an evening with the stars, at the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center, Saturday, March 29. The evening will start with a gourmet burger bar dinner at 6 p.m., followed by a Spring Stargazing presentation by Jim White at 7 p.m. If weather allows, there will be a telescope sky viewing at 7:30 p.m.
