Donald Packer, 80, passed away at his Hood River, Ore., home with family by his side on Jan. 28, 2012. He was born May 18, 1931.

A memorial service is planned for 2:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, at the Odell Methodist Church. Viewing is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 1, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Thursday, Feb. 2, from 4-6 p.m. at Anderson's Tribute Center.
