Duane Jerry Green passed away Oct. 3, 2011. He was born Sept. 5, 1953, in Hood River, Ore., to Virginia and Jerry Green, and attended schools in Hood River.

His career included logging, driving log trucks and working as an auto technician.

Duane married Roberta Ochsner in 1985 in Hood River.

He had a passion for fishing and old cars, and enjoyed time with family and going to Reno, with his wife.

He is survived by his wife, Roberta, of Vancouver, Wash., daughters Michelle and Heidi and grandsons Cody and Kyle, all of Hood River; his mother, Virginia, of Hermiston; two sisters, Susan, of Carson, Wash., and Ona, of Newberg, Ore.
