Belinda Marie Jacobs, 55, was born Jan. 13, 1954, in Lebanon, Ore., to Richard Morris and Dottie Platner. She departed from this life Dec. 2, 2009, in Fresno, Calif.
Belinda married Bradley Jacobs Aug. 8, 1981, to become his loving wife. They moved to Hood River, Ore., in May 1999. She proudly graduated from Roseburg High in 1973.
Belinda taught water aerobics at the Hood River Aquatics Center to seniors. She also loved to crochet and earned ribbons in the county fair. She also was an avid reader, cook and homemaker, and a great friend to anyone she knew.
She is survived by her husband, Bradley; parents; four sisters: Peggy, Cindy, Debbie and Jackie; and one brother, Kent. She is a loving aunt to six nieces and five nephews. She will be greatly missed.
Her family will hold a celebration of life at Apostolic Faith Church in Roseburg Dec. 10 at 11 a.m.
