Ronald Lee La Douceur, 56, a resident of The Dalles, Ore., passed away at a local care facility on Friday, Dec. 3, 2010.
He was born in Portland, Ore., on Sept. 20, 1954, the second of three children to Phillip A. and Betty J. (Ihrstrom) La Douceur. He grew up in Hood River, Ore., graduating in 1973.
Ronald has resided in The Dalles since 1987. He worked as a truck driver and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He survived by his mother, Betty La Douceur, of The Dalles; his brothers, Gene La Douceur and his wife, Chris, of The Dalles, and Tim La Douceur and his wife, Carolynn, of The Dalles; his daughters, Shannon McBride, of Hood River, and Sybil Hernandez, of Portland; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private cremation held at Win-Quatt Crematory in The Dalles with Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Gorge Foundation.
