Helen L. Wilson was born in Stratford, Ontario, Canada, Feb. 28, 1923. She died in Hood River, Ore., Dec. 22, 2009.
She was a good lady; good wife; good mother and good friend.
She loved Hood River and its people.
She loved her swim pool time and her church.
Helen is survived by two families:
Her Canadian family: son Michael, and daughter-in-law Kathy; grandchildren Matthew, Samantha and Lee, and their spouses; and three great-granddaughters.
Her U.S. family: husband, Clyde Wilson; U.S. children lucky enough to know her 30-plus years: Clyde Dr., Tim and Jane; U.S. grandchildren lucky enough to have her around 30-plus years: JD, Eric, Toni and Ellen; and three great-granddaughters.
A celebration of her life will be held Feb. 28 at Asbury Methodist Church, State Street, Hood River.
