Carol Dawn Mack, 83, passed away in Hood River, Ore., Jan. 24, 2010. She was born in Portland, Ore., on March 10, 1926, to Loit V. and Lucille M. (Hughes) Junkin.
Carol married Lilbern A. Lawson and together they had six children. She later married Roy Mack.
Carol worked at home, enjoying the role of homemaker and mother. She lived most of her life in the greater Portland area, including Tigard and Sherwood, and later in McMinnville. For the last three years she lived in Hood River.
Survivors include her children: Gregory Lawson, of Bend, Ore., Michael Lawson, of Las Vegas, Nev., Keith Lawson, of Roseburg, Ore., David Lawson, of Prospect, Ore., Libby Larsell, of White Salmon, Wash., and Neil Lawson, of McMinnville.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 28, at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. Gardner Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
