On July 2, 2010, Lee Jenkins left this life. In his 65 years he worked hard and traveled and explored extensively. He made friends everywhere he went. He did more than just create a comfortable and homey bed and breakfast; he truly enjoyed the many people who came as guests and left as friends.
A talented and creative photographer and avid gardener, his photos are often sold as greeting cards and his flower garden will always inspire awe. He had a broad knowledge of geologic history and a passion for collecting rocks and fossils. He grew up in Canby, Ore., and came to Hood River in the 1960s.
Lee was always kind and generous with everyone. His boundless joy for life included a love of nature and above all, the deep and abiding love for his wife, Linda, his many friends and his children, Warren and Molly. His spirit will live on in the memories of all those who knew him. He will be missed by many.
In lieu of flowers, please send a contribution to the American Cancer Society.
