Belinda Louise Pollard, of Hood River, Ore., died Friday, Oct. 15, 2010, after a protracted battle with cancer.
Born in Portland, Ore., Oct. 18, 1959, to Melvin and Gracie Blubaugh, Belinda was an excellent nurse and a loving mother. She received her nursing degree from Columbia Basin College and her bachelor’s degree in health administration from Warren National University.
She was an avid outdoor adventurer and enjoyed traveling at every opportunity.
Throughout her children’s primary schooling, she was an active member of parent-teacher organizations. Outside these responsibilities she loved to fish, ski and snorkel with family and friends.
A member of Hood River Alliance Church, she thoroughly enjoyed studying her Bible and bettering her faith.
Belinda is survived by her husband, Robert, sons Trevor and Robert III, and brother Marvin.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Oct. 21 at Hood River Alliance Church.
