Priscilla Ann Tucker, 86, who was known as "Pat," passed away June 21, 2011, at Parkhurst House of Hood River.
Services are planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, July 9, at Riverside Community Church, 319 State St., Hood River, with a reception to follow, and then graveside rites at Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, July 8, at Anderson's Tribute Center, 1401 Belmont Ave.
Pat was born Dec. 16, 1924, in Hood River, Ore., to Harold and Priscilla (Goodenough) Tucker and was a life-long resident of Hood River.
She worked in the family business, Tucker Store, and for many years at the Riverside Community Church, where she was also an active member of the choir.
She enjoyed gardening and caring for the home that she shared with her brother, Norman, until his death in December 2005. Her friends and family will always remember her love of jigsaw puzzles and her tenacity to finish each one, regardless of how difficult or time-consuming.
Pat is survived by her nieces and nephews: Shirley Lane, Nancy Schupelius, Karen Mitchell, Paul Niemuth, Susan Colligan, Frances Brent, Richard Tucker, Tom Tucker, Robert Tucker, Carol Lindberg, and Debi Brown.
In addition to her parents Pat was preceded in death by her sister, Winifred (Tucker) Niemuth, and her two brothers, Alan Tucker and Norman Tucker.
Memorials can be made in Pat's name to Providence Hospice of the Gorge.
