Victoria C. Stayduhar, 95, passed away on March 23, 2011, at the Hood River Care Center in Hood River, Ore. She was a resident for six years.
Victoria was the beloved mother of Louise Barner and Doctor Melui Goff, of Hood River, also a daughter, Bernice Fucich from Pittsburgh, Penn. Victoria was the grandmother of five grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Her remains will be flown to Pittsburgh, Penn., accompanied by her grandson James Barner.
Catholic funeral rites will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1501 Belmont Ave., Hood River. Victoria will be laid to rest next to her late husband, Frank Stayduhar, at St. Mary's Cemetery of Sharpsburg, Penn.
The Stayduhar family would like to take this opportunity to thank all the caregivers, nurses and administrative staff who so lovingly attended to her care during this difficult time. The family also wants to say a special thank you for the beautiful flowers we received. May God bless all of you.
Mother you are gone. Now you are free from the earthly chains that held you an invalid for so long. But if we had one wish and a dream that could come true, with all our hearts we would wish for one more day with you.
