Ronald L. Embree, 66, passed away on May 12, 2011, at his home of natural causes.
Ron was born to Norval and Erna Embree in Windsor, Mo., on Dec. 7, 1944. The family moved to the Hood River, Ore., area in 1953, where Ron remained for the rest of his life.
He drove Hyster for Diamond Fruit Growers until he retired in 2007.
Ron had such great love for family and friends, and country. He was a man of great honor and always held to his values with grace and dignity.
Ron loved the outdoors and was very active in Jeep racing, 4x4, prospecting, hunting, fishing and restoring old jeeps. However, most of all he loved to gather with his family and friends for a great time and good laughs.
Ron is survived by his twin brother, Donald Embree, and his wife, Marsha, of Camas, Wash.; niece Katrina Embree, of Vancouver, Wash.; nephew Alan Embree and his wife, Melanie, and their children, Ace and Andy of Bend, Ore.; other family, Jack and Vance, of Missouri, Patsy Frazier, of Hood River, Ila Ruth Catlin, of Toledo, Wash., Paul Zacha, of Grants Pass, Ore., and Keith Zach, of Missouri.
Ron, you will be forever missed and forever loved, always.
