Kevin Elliott, 54, renowned motorcycle rider and builder in the Pacific Northwest, died Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011, in a motorcycle accident on the BZ/Glenwood Highway.
Kevin ate, slept and drank motorcycles (but not Harleys). He and his wife, Michelle, rode together all over the world.
Kevin and Michelle lived in both Seattle and the Gorge. They loved the Gorge for its natural beauty and recreational activities. He was riding with friends when gravel took him off the road and Mother Earth took him hard and fast - just like he lived.
He was a great friend and devoted to his wife and high school sweetheart, of almost 30 years. Kevin always had a smile on his face and never, ever spoke ill of others. He will be greatly missed by his friends.
His ashes will be scattered in the Gorge and carried by his motorcycles buddies as they ride in his memory. Memorial services will be Sept. 11 (their 30th anniversary) in Seattle.
