Jean Marie Douthit Lewis, of Cascade Locks, Ore., passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, March 3, 2012. Jean was born on April 19, 1948, in Omaha, Neb. She grew up in Medford, graduating from Medford High School in 1966.
She was a loving mother, wife and friend. She is preceded in death by her father, Milton Douthit.
She is survived by her mother, Charlotte Foster, of Colorado; husband, Gail Owen Lewis, of Cascade Locks, Ore.; three sons, Jack Byron Lewis (Monica), of Medford, Ore., Gary Owen Lewis, of Troutdale, Ore., and Sterling Lloyd Totten, of Vancouver, Wash.; and five grandsons.
A private family graveside service was held Saturday, March 17, at Siskiyou Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hearts with a Mission, 521 Edwards St., Medford, OR 97501 or to your favorite charity.
Arrangements are by Conger-Morris of Medford, Ore., with assistance from Anderson's Tribute Center in Hood River, Ore.
