Thomas “Butch” Carratt, 68, died June 7, 2013, at his home in Salmon, Idaho.
Butch was born Jan. 1, 1945, in Hood River, Ore., to Tom and Kathryn Lee Carratt. The family lived in Centerville, Wash., and Butch attended primary and elementary school in Centerville, graduating from high school in Goldendale, Wash., in 1963. Before becoming ill Butch had planned on attending his 50th class reunion this month in Goldendale.
Surviving are sons Jeff and Cynthia Carratt, of Mt. Hood, Ore., and Jase Carratt, of Hillsboro; grandchildren Travis, Toby and Alex; Karen Louiselle, sister Joanne Rix, niece Kristina Beal and nephew Eric Curtis. Cousins Ted and Darla Carratt also survive.
At his request no services will be held.
Always a fisherman, Butch asked to have his ashes scattered on the Salmon River in Idaho.
