Our beloved brother, father, and friend, David Ray Neuvirth, “River Song,” passed away Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, Ore., surrounded by family and friends. He was born May 7, 1967.
David was employed as a dispatcher for Gorge Yellow Cab by his “amigo,” Enrique Ortega. Although not a Hood River native, he considered Hood River his home. Everyone enjoyed his company. His belief in God brought him into sobriety. We all miss him dearly.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela Wendzel, of Hood River; daughter, Sierra Eve Neuvirth, of Portland, Ore.; mother, Kristin Osmar; adoptive father, Frank Neuvirth; brothers Ken Neuvirth, Andrew Neuvirth and Jay Neuvirth; half-sister Katrina Jensen; and half-brothers Kai Osmar, Palo Osmar, Sean Osmar.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, at Anderson’s Tribute Center.
Condolences are being received online.
