Faye Laurene Fehrs, 78, passed away Dec. 16, 2014, at her home in Cascade Locks, Ore.
A graveside funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 29, at the Cascade Locks Cemetery, 86 WaNaPa St., Cascade Locks.
Faye was born Feb. 17, 1936, in Hubbard, Oregon to Walter and Laura (Freeman) Hiatt. On Aug. 29, 1953, Faye married Edward Fehrs in Goldendale, Wash., and to their union were blessed three children: Curtis, Daniel and Laura. Ed passed away Aug. 7, 2007.
Over the years Faye and family have lived in The Dalles, Ore., Libby, Mont., Bridgeport, Wash., Skamania, Wash., Gold Bar, Wash., and Cascade Locks, Ore. Faye was an active homemaker and loved being with her family. She enjoyed collecting Fenton and carnival glass, antiques, garage sales, canning, working outside on her yard and garden and taking care of her little companion dog, “Pixie.”
Faye is survived and will be dearly missed by her children: Curtis Fehrs (and Laura), of Vancouver, Wash., Dan Fehrs (and his wife, Ellen), of Clackamas, Ore., and Laura Rush (and her husband, Alan), of Cascade Locks; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and other distant family and many friends that she has collected over the years.
In addition to her parents and husband Faye was preceded in death by a brother and eight sisters.
