Earl Macrum passed away Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014, at Columbia Basin Care Facility in The Dalles, Ore. He was born June 4, 1934, to Charles and Blanche Macrum.
Earl lived in different parts of the Columbia River Gorge but mainly in the Odell area, where he met and married Phyllis Epley. They had one son, Frank Macrum. Earl lived the last 13 years in Washington to be closer to his son and family.
Earl is survived by his son, Frank, and daughter-in-law, Carrie; their two boys, Sean and Steven; Earl’s stepbrothers, Fritz and Ernie Nelson, and stepsisters, Shirley, Linda and Edith Nelson.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother, stepmother Sylvia Nelson-Macrum, stepbrother Johnny Nelson, stepsister Joyce Nelson-Campbell and grandson Charles Edward Macrum.
Services will be held at the Kingdom Hall, off Loop Road, in White Salmon, Wash., on Saturday, Jan. 18, at 1 p.m.
