Ronald R. DeWilde, 73, of North Bonneville, Wash., died Sept. 28, 2015, in White Salmon, Wash. He was born Aug. 13, 1942, in White Salmon, Wash., to George and Margaret DeWilde.
Ron attended school in White Salmon and served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He worked for 25 years in maintenance for the Stevenson School District, Columbia Hardware, and Senior Services as a driver, and field mowing for many years in the area.
His hobbies included building, car restoration and biking.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Janice DeWilde, of North Bonneville; sister Deanna Boast and her husband Rod, of Clackamas, Ore.; two sons, James R. DeWilde, of Portland, Ore., and Edward M. DeWilde and his wife Suzanna, of Scio, Ore.; daughter Glenda R. Crawley, of Milltown, Mont.; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by son Jack Ronald DeWilde and parents George and Margaret DeWilde, of White Salmon.
Ron’s potluck memorial will be at Hegawald Center in Stevenson, Wash., Oct. 11 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
