Jacqueline Marie Benzel Miller passed away Monday, Jan. 25, 2016. She was born in Hood River on March 26, 1933, to Jake and Cleo Benzel.
She attended schools in Hood River and college at Pacific University. She was a teacher until she retired and then helped run the school’s library. She loved playing the piano, reading and camping at Spirit Lake.
Jackie is survived by her husband, Bill Miller, and children Pat Miller and Ann Marie Coons, three granddaughters, and two sisters, Barbara Sunday of Tigard, Ore., and Judie Scobee of Hood River, Ore.
Services for Jackie will be Friday, Feb. 19 at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church in Ridgefield, Wash.
She will be missed by all.
