Ada Beatrice Rodriguez, 60, passed away at her home in Hood River on Oct. 27, 2016. She was born in Mexico City, Mexico, to Manuel and Aida Monje Rodriguez on Dec. 2, 1955.
Ada worked as a teller for Columbia Bank in Hood River. To know Ada was to love her; whether you knew her for hours or a lifetime, she made you smile. Ada was generous, kind, selfless, compassionate, always happy, so fun to be with, silly, a very valued friend, a beloved sister, an adoring and adored aunt, a loving mom and proud grandma. Her laugh was one-of-a-kind and infectious.
Ada’s heart was much bigger than she was. Ada was always on the go. She always was willing to try new things, go new places and add new friends. Ada will always live in those she loved and cared for. There are too many hearts left behind that Ada touched to ever be counted. You will be loved forever, Ada.
She is missed by her son Noah Garcia of Healdsburg, Calif.; father and stepmother Manuel and Albina Rodriguez; siblings Diana Curiel and her husband Eugenio Curiel of Healdsburg, Miguel Rodriguez and family of Windsor, Calif., Mario Rodriguez and family of Healdsburg, Manuel Rodriguez, Jr. and family of Lompoc, Calif., and Norma Maldonado and family of Palmdale, Calif.; and grandchildren Angelo, Bella and Elena Garcia.
She was preceded in death by her mother Aida and younger sister Rebeca Rodriguez.
