Theresa Del Carpine went home to Jesus in the heavenlies at 12:20 on Nov. 21, 2016. Her companion of 67 years, Cosmo Del Carpine, welcomed her with open arms.
Theresa’s life brought her from her roots in Brooklyn, N.Y., through Orlando, Fla., all the way to Hood River, Ore., to live at Down Manor as of July 2015 until her passing.
Her calling in life was to be the best wife, mom, grandmother and friend. Family was her number one. Her greatest pride and joy were her sons and grandchildren. Smiles and hugs were her major assets.
Daughter of Charles FoCarile and Margaret Marone, she is survived by son Michael Del Carpine (and wife Anne) of Fort Meyers, Fla.; Anthony (and wife Melissa) Del Carpine of Hood River, Ore.; granddaughter Samantha (and husband, David) Phillips of Jefferson, Ore., and Zachary Del Carpine of Tualatin, Ore., and brother Allen FoCarile of New York.
Theresa’s family would like to give a special thank you to Teri Phillips and all of the caregivers, both private and hospice, for making Theresa’s last days the best possible! Theresa considered them all ANGELS and all of her family agrees!
A time to visit with family will be held from 8:30-9 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3 at Anderson’s Tribute Center; a service will be held at 9 a.m., followed by interment at Idlewilde Cemetery, 980 Tucker Rd., Hood River.
Arrangements are under the direction of Anderson's Tribute Center (Funerals • Receptions • Cremations), 1401 Belmont Ave., Hood River. Visit www. AndersonsTributeCenter.com to leave a note of condolence for the family.
