Judy Curtis, age 73, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017, at Portland Providence Medical Center in Portland, Ore. She was born April 27, 1943, in Bakersfield, Calif., to Jack and Barbara Knight. After moving to Colorado as a young girl, she graduated from Cherry Creek High School in 1961. She married Whit Wangelin in March of 1964, in Littleton, Colo.
After being widowed at a young age and moving to Hood River, Ore., she married again, to Clayton Curtis, in June of 1988. Judy truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures: gardening, puzzle building, chatting with friends and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her two brothers, John and Gary Knight; children Greg Dunivent, Becky Currie, Christie Wunderlin, Kit Wangelin, and Kristian Curtis; 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Family, friends, and others whose lives Judy touched are invited to celebrate her life at the Hood River Golf Course and Country Club, 1850 Country Club Road, Hood River, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 4.
