Julie Reed of Boardman, Ore., was born Oct. 25, 1943, in Tahlaqueh, Okla., the daughter of Clarence and Mable (Greene) Hilton. She passed away on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018, in Richland, Wash., at the age of 74.
Julie moved to Oroville, Calif., as a child, where she grew up, attended school and graduated from high school. After high school, she lived in San Bruno, Calif., from the early 1960s through the mid-1970s. She resided in Hood River, Ore., from the mid-1970s until moving to Boardman in 1987.
Julie married Daniel Reed on Sept. 28, 1987, in Coeur d’alene, Idaho.
She enjoyed cooking, growing her flowers, gardening, fishing and bowling. She loved her mini schnauzers and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel; two sisters, Edith Faulkner and Irene Morasci; children, Fred Silva, Kevin Silva, Steve Silva, Sandra Silva Holmes, Lisa Silva Wexler, Vivian Lee, Roberta Hulit, Darla Coyner and Rhonda Reed; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; twin sister, Judy; sisters, Callie and Maxine; and brothers, Charles and Arnold.
A private family gathering will be held at a later time. Burns Mortuary of Hermiston, Ore., is in care of final arrangements.
