Craziness: ODOT oficials are calling weather this week "a major storm, not to be taken lightly." Up to 10 feet of snow is forecasted to fall on Mount Hood by the end of the week, so drivers are urged to be very prepared. As of Monday morning, ODOT's tripcheck website listed severe weather hazards for Hwy. 35 with chains and/or traction tires required.
