BIKINIS in December drew a solid crowd of cash donors and car wash patrons during HRVHS teacher Nan Noteboom’s Writing 121 class fundraiser for FISH food bank on Sunday. Braving the snowy weather at Columbia State Bank were: (left to right) Monica Marquez, Cristina Silva, Connor Normand, Hayden Miller, Connor Webb, Wells Bishop, Eric Hamada, Eli Fults, Sierra Windsor and McKenna Carter. The crew took in about $300 in two hours. Donations are still being collected at the high school and around town. To help to a particular class, donate by Dec. 19. Additional cash or cans will be accepted at the front office through Friday. FISH food bank hopes the predictions of snow throughout the week will not slow down the donors.
