Young girls who have become nuns that live at the orphanage down the street from our school," says Godard. "Our fifth-graders raised over $2,000 U.S. and gave some of the money to the orphanage and bought them school supplies and balls. The rest of the money went to another school for local children to help pay for tuition and school supplies.”
