Ernie Enos accepts a retirement gift and heartfelt thanks from Michael McElwee, Port of Hood River executive director. Enos retired this summer after 32 years with the port’s maintenance department. “There’s not a person who Ernie worked with that didn’t like him,” McElwee said at the Nov. 27 Board of Commissioners meeting before giving Enos a hug and the gift of a gold watch.
