Teams walk this weekend at HRVHS to raise funds for ACS
“Superheroes” will be the theme of this year’s Relay For Life of the Columbia Gorge, the community gathering on July 19-20 for the fight against cancer. For 24 hours starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, teams will walk around the Hood River Valley High School track to raise funds, and awareness, for the American Cancer Society.
People from all walks of life came to Hood River Valley High School last Saturday to participate in Relay for Life of the Columbia Gorge and help end one of the most devastating diseases known to humankind: cancer.
