Luminary bags line the track at Hood River Valley High School. The bags are adorned with messages to loved ones who have been affected by cancer.
“Superheroes” will be the theme of this year’s Relay For Life of the Columbia Gorge, the community gathering on July 19-20 for the fight against cancer. For 24 hours starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, teams will walk around the Hood River Valley High School track to raise funds, and awareness, for the American Cancer Society.
