ENJOYING THE VIEW and a brew, Harvest Festival patrons relax in the sunshine outside the food and music tent in a beer garden set up on the Event Site lawn overlooking the Columbia River. Other visitors played on the beach and even in the water. With warm and sunny weather all weekend, festival-goers had freedom to roam around and enjoy a gorgeous fall day along the Hood River Waterfront. Water levels on the Columbia River were low enough that people could walk from the Event Site out to the Sandbar without getting wet, which gave people the added option of tak-ing a long stroll around the now-famous local landmark.
