WHITNEY OLSKER, U.S. Forest Service silviculturist, shows the public a thinning map in the target area of the Cooper Spur area project on the Mount Hood National Forest. Forest Service officials met with environmental and recreation groups in a casual setting and talked details of the Polallie Cooper thinning and fuels reduction proposed for northern Mount Hood.
