QUARTERBACK CADEN LEIBLEIN, a sophomore (No. 12), hands off to runningback Michael Jones, a junior (No. 21), during HRV’s home-opener against St. Helens Friday evening. A promising Eagles opening drive that concluded with an 11-yard touchdown pass from Leiblein to junior wideout Tanner Wells was quickly equalized, and then some, when the Lions subsequently scored 47 straight points to put HRV in too deep a hole for the young team. The Eagles went on to lose 47-13.
