A ROCKSLIDE has crews working onsite near Rowena. Above, dump trucks lined up Monday to be loaded with rock that fell onto Highway 30 on May 7. Crews estimate reopening by Memorial Day.

Rockfall work underway

The Oregon Department of Transportation is hard at work to remove the recent rockslide that occurred just east of the Rowena Crest Overlook between Mosier and Rowena.
